In the following weeks, his son DJ would notice new men visiting Darrin’s newlywed wife, Sharon Hale, at their home, and not to help find his father. After finally getting the Gilbert Police department to take the missing person’s report seriously, investigators discovered a newly minted life insurance policy with Sharon as the sole beneficiary, allegedly signed by Darrin. What detectives uncovered next included a deadly home invasion, torture, and a road trip out to the middle of the California desert in a brand new Cadillac…
