In April 2009, Patrick Calalang arrived home after a long day at his dentistry to find 37-year-old Chuck Goff inside his bathroom, armed to the teeth.

Chuck blindsided Patrick, holding him hostage at the business end of a shotgun. After zip-tying Patrick’s hands and feet, Chuck made it clear that he was not happy that Patrick was seeing his ex-wife and that the 2 of them would wait for her to arrive to explain herself.

Patrick had to think quickly. In the blink of an eye, he made a dash for his gun, hidden nearby. The resulting shootout between Patrick Catalang and Chuck Goff would change their lives forever…
