_At the mercy of the court…_

In January 2022, Christopher Russell Jones violated an order of protection held by his ex-girlfriend by driving by her apartment in his red truck while she was home. Fort Collins PD looked at security footage and concluded that the red truck was not the same truck Christopher owned. Regardless, the investigation moved forward, with the department obtaining a warrant for his cell phone records and forcing the case into the courts.

What transpired over the days and weeks during the trial of the People of the State of Colorado v. Christopher Russell Jones would fly in the face of justice and hurl Sy Ray into a battle for truth, transparency, and the very future of cell phone location evidence…
